I used to take my male pitbull to the Chaparral dog park. Sadly, he was attacked twice on two different occasions by two german shepherds. I was told that these two dogs would often attack other dogs in the park. The owner was not apologetic. It would be nice if dog owners who have dogs, regardless of the breed, who have attacked dogs in the past would muzzle their dogs if they insist on bringing their dogs to the off leash dog park.

Great article! Its super important for pet owners to educate themselves and READ labels! It blows my mind how amazing the commercials look on tv for dog foods…those commercials are for the WORST dog foods. They put millions into advertising, when they should be putting it into quality ingredients and NOT corn, by products, wheat, soy, cancerous chemicals, etc……
Fetch doggy store is my FAVE!! They only carry healthy foods! They know whats up!!

Do you have a similar article for if you FIND a lost or stray dog ? This is a great article for if you have LOST your dog however what about the other end of the coin …. when you’ve FOUND a lost/stray dog.. do you have any tips, advice, suggestions ? Naturally the first is to be safe. Don’t go near the roaming (what looks lost) dog unless it is safe to do so.

What next would you do ? Would you take it to the pound or vet once you’ve got control of it (in your car or on a leash) ? Or would you look at its tags and call the owner first before going to the vet or pound ? Would you not even approach it + instead call the local animal control + report the roaming dog ? How do you deal with ungrateful owners ?
